Beautiful capture of this Lady Red-Winged Barbara.
Your focus is sharp, white balance controlled well and the details are the bird are superb.
I only would suggest you tone down the brightness of the background a tad.
Nice work!

I think these birds are pretty even with their plain brown markings. The little hint of rust color around the beak and eye shows nicely in this shot. The shallow dof is very attractive and emphasizes the sharpness of the bird well.

A very nice looking female. Her colors are great and I like the catchlight in her eye. This square presentation is perfect for her diagonal placement.

Really a beautiful detailed capture of this bird. The clarity is excellent. It looks like it was a very sunny day, if it were mine I'd tone down the brightness of the background.
I think it draws the eye out, away from your beautiful bird.
Just an opinion, the capture is fantastic.

Barbare, this is a lovely photo of the female black bird. It shows the details of the bird, nice contrast with bright green color of the background. Now your work has recognized status!!!!

The bird is in perfect focus. The details of its body and plumage show crisp nicely defined detail. The colors and the natural light are refreshingly realistic. In my opinion the photo could be cropped more because some of the lighted spots in the background are distracting from the bird.

A Sharply focused avian subject.
Simple earth tones against a Verdant overtone!

Bright lighting.
We cans till enhance saturation a bit for a greener backdrop.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.

Thanks for sharing...

Barbara,
A beautiful picture of this female Redwing Blackbird, watching you from her perch in the undergrowth bathed in soft sunshine. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This is a wonderful shot of the little Blackbird! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Cool,Barbara!
The female of this particular species of bird never seems to get the attention that the more strikingly colorful male does and your nice looking photograph of this particular specimen perching in the foliage looks Great,my friend! : )
