I would not have known that this was an ornament. I immediately thought it was a real cactus :) I think you have accentuated the textures very well. The lighting is also very flattering, as well as the background design.

Of course you had to photograph that cactus. I had to look really close to see that it is an ornament. I am not sure of the material used, but it looks like ceramic. You have the ornament well photographed. The light falling in from the left is intriguing. The paint filter accentuates the cactus-ears nicely. The new background emphasizes the cactus and intensifies the three dimensional effect.

I think you have started out with an excellent shot of the cactus and your post-processing work has turned this into a piece of art. Simply stunning.....in light and shadows. Your colors are not oversaturated......just perfect. Very well photographed with good lighting, sharp focus and incredible details.
