A great entry for the contest Aimee. What a prize to have an item like this come with the house. I can see how it can be a conversation piece. Definitely different. A good photo with the subject well placed in the frame. Best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve

What a gorgeous front yard you have! This is an interesting and very unique garden sculpture with the rider and the bicycle all made of metal, I can see this would be a great conversation starter! This is well focused , the image is clear , exposure is mostly well controlled, it's a little bright on the helmet and in the patch of white flowers, overall, the colors and tones appear natural. I like your placement of this sculpture in the frame, allowing us a sense of its surroundings and location. This is well composed and presented, interesting to view! Thank you so much Pat. We live in the "jungle" of southern Florida where everything blooms every day and lots of the plants, trees and flowers are gargantuan. I feel like I am in Jack and the Beanstalk, or Gulliver's Travels....LOL. We literally have giant vines that you can swing from! Thanks so much for the detailed review, I really appreciate your input. I played around with the exposure to try to soften the two obvious hot spots, but that sun was harsh, as it always is, and I am quite thankful for that. BTW I LOVE Alaska!

Yes. On a 7 day cruise. Quick stops in ports. Went in hopes of seeing my favorite animal....Orca!

Did you see one? I was in Seward , standing on the Bay, an orca jumped right in front of me! No camera, then a while later, I was walking my dog and another orca jumped! Again, no camera, it was a thrill to see and hear it though!
