This has some awesome colors! The way the sky colors are reflecting on the foreground water gives a nice balance and beauty to the scene. I like the contrast of the background water too. The silhouette of the bird looks nice too.

Very unusual colors but effective colors for a water scene. The horizontal striping is interesting in the foreground, and the gull and mountains are bonus features.

Love the colors and scene that you have captured. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this colorful sunset SkyView, water reflection with lone duck swimming is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

A very tranquil sunset swim! This gull (?) stands out nicely in the calm reflective water but looks a bit lonely by himself. Several other specks, most likely gulls, bob on the deeper blue water further out. Maybe this guy was hoping that by keeping close to shore he might get a handout -- or the shallow water might not be as cold? Wishing you a bright day this season! Thanks for sharing! Daphne Oberon

I really like the layer of colors created by the landscape and sunset. If the seagull was removed it would appear almost as an abstract painting. Yet, the lone seagull is a charming element and is perfectly positioned in the scene for maximum artistic effect. Very well done.

This is a lovely image. I am sure we can all relate to the peacefulness of this scene. Many may even secretly wish to be this very seagull with the entire ocean to them self.
