Certainly was a gorgeous sunset and well captured by you. Love the colors in the water almost matching the sky. And the mountains add a perspective to the picture. Looks like there may be a ship in the distance also.

Know you have entered this in a seascape contest and it works for that, but what strikes me is if you could have got a tighter crop of those mountains and less of the sea think the contrast between the two, more so in a panoramic effect think would have been even better...Brian

Great colours, do I like the bird opposite that spot,or tree way in the background, this is well balanced, and easy to look at I love the orange glow and reflected on the water

A serene seascape!
Tranquil image.

Painterly feel despite the minimalist presentation.
The lone seagull lends a nostalgic touch.

The distant hazy soft silhouette visually balanced this image.
Subdued lighting.
Great framing.
Pin sharp focusing.

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

Nik,
A very beautiful yet simple shot of a lone Sea Gull in silhouette swimming on the clam Irish Sea as the sun descends below the horizon it's golden/orange after glow colouring the mist in front of the Welsh mountains & the sky above them that in turn is reflected on the water. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

nice capture of the sunset colors, but, if the seagull is the main subject it should be seem better, like it it looks like you have capture him by mistake

good depth of field and light handling

Wow, love the complimentary colors of oranges and dark blues and how there are streaks of orange in the foreground reflecting the sky. My eye travels from the dove to the sailboat in the background. Good luck in the contest.

So beautiful! The colors are so bright mirrored in the water. The duck makes it even more interesting. The horizontal line is straight. Perfect time to get this stunning photo.
