Here we go. The colors are beautiful. Good time of the day for this photo. The water looks unnaturally smooth and calm. I like the reflection of the sky in the water. Good framing with the mountain and I love that little boat at the water's edge. The horizon line is nice and straight.

Hi Pat, Usually I wouldn't think of warm glows associated with snow, but I really love the look of this. This Is one of those images I really can't find words for except that I like the soft look of it. I think the lighting has a lot to do with that. Very Nicely done! :o) Nancy

Pat,
A beautiful picture of Jim lake at sunset with snow falling the sun's last golden rays glowing through the snow clouds, this beauty then reflected onto the ice covering the lake's surface the mountain in silhouette rising up from the lake's shore on the right & the plants growing in the foreground are an added bonus. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I can't say that I'm thrilled about the 'snowfall' part of it ( Brrrr! ) but overall the scene has a great Dreamy and Surreal type of a tone that I like a lot! : )
