A beautiful and calm scene. I like the Red Maple which nicely frames the lake and draws the eye to the yellow tree reflection in the distance. The calm waters and line of stones make for a peaceful scene. I have six or seven Red Maples on my property that I dug up in the woods many tears ago. Those along with the Japanese Maples all turn a bright red in the fall. Nice shot here Fred ~ Steve

This is a magical scene!. The bright color in the reflection gives way to the fiery red oak tree! I love how the oak tree reaches across the entire scene.
Great color and sharp detail makes this a wonderful entry!

This year, after weeks of drought and blistering heat, we, too, are having a brilliantly colorful autumn in northern France. In the more than 50 years I have lived here I haven't see such a bevy of red, yellows and oranges. Your picture is excellent. I like the way you included the border of stones at the bottom. Your colors are superb and the stillness of the water very peaceful.

A beautiful picture of your local lake surrounded by beautiful trees including a Maple imported from Canada it's leaves showing their beautiful Autumnal red contrasting with the gold & green leaves on the other trees around the lake. The stepping stones in the foreground are an added bonus. The trees & the sky above reflected on the lake's mirror still surface. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
