That's a great looking Sesonal type of a picture,my friend!
And the striking contrast between the colors of the bright red leaf and the cool dark green of the grasses make it an especially pleasing image to view!

I like how some blade of grass clipped the tips as if to pin it down to avoid being blown by the wind..,

Barbara,
A beautiful red Sycamore or Maple leaf lying in the grass after it had fallen from the tree above bright in it's Autumn colours. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken in superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very nice shot. The color of the maple leaf is fantastic and the square presentation is perfect. The detail in the leaf is very good but it seems to be missing something; maybe a little dew or frost would help.

Nice scene here Barbara. The contrasting of the colors of red and green remind us of the Christmas season that is rapidly approaching. Good detail in the leaf as the veins are showing quite clearly. I might have erased the bit of brown leaf in the upper right corner but that is not really a big thing. Nice scene here Barbara ~ Steve
