Good that you changed your mind and posted the color version. The abundance of plant life in autumn colors is especially impressive. I guess black and white would not preserve the warmed of those colors and the special light of this photo. The plants hide a part of the house but the house looks as if it is inhabited. It seems also winter proved with those two chimneys, I see on the roof. The photo is well taken. It is sharp through and has good dept. The house is nicely placed into the frame left of center. The photo is well balanced.

Picture perfect.
I love the little house peeking out from behind the lush foliage.
Mostly hues of greens with pops of red and yellows surrounding this awesome little hideaway.
I love how the mountain in the background is highlighted by the rays from the sun.
The stream running happily along looks fresh and inviting.
I love this image. Taken from a great vantage point.
Beautifully captured Pat!!!!

This is a fine shot of the old building and the creek. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Oh this is a very nice scene Pat, It looks like a painting and a scene out of a story book. The colors are so pretty and the way the foliage is covering the house really give a special look to the scene. Great work as always Pat ~ Steve

What is the origin of such exotic names--Indian?!?

Well, the owner of this abode is surely a nature lover!

It must be cold out there...
Lush flora set against a cool blue skyline with cumulus clouds hovering by...

Natural colors and gorgeous lighting.
Nice Thirds!

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

The building is remarkably well kept and looks quite habitable. A very nicely composed shot with the stream and foothills balancing the mass of the building. Great colors and beautiful details.

Thank you so very much! I was amazed at how well this building has stood the test of time, some of the buildings had just tumbled.

The colours in this are so vivid, they almost jump off the page. Great composition, good depth of field, and lots of interest for the viewer. Absolutely stunning.

Wow Pat these colors are amazing. When I first looked at this it made me think of a Thomas Kincaid cottage. The scene is beautiful and the colors make this image a real work of art. Love the small stream and light blue sky.
Truly a pleasure to see this landscape.
