Oh this title is perfect because this bird appears so sleek and almost painterly.
Such a beautiful image with the subtle touch of color in its feather tails. A clear and wonderful side view of this pretty and soft appearing species. Really a beauty to see this close.

What a great title for this 'Sleek Beauty'. I think Waxwings are so regal looking and when they are surrounded by red berries they are a sight to behold. Great sofus and corors here. Yes it looks like you hauled off a truck load of debris from this one. Good work Pat ~ Steve

Thanks so much! This was a very cluttered image , with branches mainly , I must have worked in it for a good hour! I do have some shots of them with the red berries!

A great capture,so nice of him to pose on this diagonal branch! Beautiful coloration,so luminous in appearance.We have cedar waxwings here,mine don't like to stay put.You always know when they are flying overhead by their wheezy call.This is a very lovely photo,many thanks for sharing!

A very nice shot. Nice diagonal placement fills the frame. The light is excellent and the eye seems to glow. The colors could not be nicer and the background is fine but for the lower right corner.
