I love cedar waxwing birds! Yours look slightly different from ours but you can still tell they are the same kind of bird=) The focus is very nice! They like the crab apples on my trees and come to eat them=)

Pat,
A fantastic picture of the Bohemian Waxwing with it's distinctively marked plumage pale apricot pink, grey cafe au lait, white, black, with a flask of orange under it's tail which is tipped in yellow & crest with those amber eyes watching closely as I move around the room!
Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Wow! This is great photo, Pat! I love a diagonal composition. The colors are gorgeous, especially reddish spots, the white on the wings and yellow on the tail. Amazing hand of the Creator. I like the "hair style" of the bird! I wish I had one 6 left... amazing post!!!!

This is pretty cool photo of the wax wing. Seems like nicely focused and shows good details. Slight shadow on the head is a bit of distraction for me. Otherwise very good work and thanks for sharing.
