Beautiful Birds! So is the dead bird something the mom caught to feed this hungry baby. He or she seems to be looking at mom with adoration lol Glad these guys have a place to nest where you can take such great photos

Great capture of this beautiful mother Bald Eagle with her chick, Pat - what a shame that the dead chick is still there. I love the pose you caught with the young one looking expectantly up at its mother. Excellent lighting and focus showing great clarity. Lovely composition. Suzanne

What a wonderful scene Pat. I reallylike the way the juvenile is looking up expectantly at the mother. It must be so wonderful to be able to see these magnificent birds on a regular basis. That is precious, Pat. Not to mention photographically excellent. Both are in sharp focus and perfectly lit. Love the expression on the mother's face and the catch light in the fledgling. Little different down here - most of the young leave the nest in the early spring.
