Your review is very complimentary... thank you. Olhao is in Portugal and sort of my home town when i am there. I spend usually March to Oct. Have a small island studio. And love the weather. I also live part yeat in my home town Newcastle UK. And my partner is German so also live there . Much travelling. Good for inspiration.

That is such a great idea for revitalizing an area that can look less that attractive to say the least. I like to photograph the finished works and have some that are so artistically well done they belong somewhere else that on the side of an old warehouse or brick wall. I am glad you are making a record of these works of art as they will perhaps one day be of local historical value. Great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best ~ Steve

Thank you Steve that was a very understanding review I also take photographs and agree the artwork can be outstanding. Olhao has many really good graffiti artists ... You find their art on even old churches. One of which has its steeple as a witch's hat and face on the tower. Quite not the thing for a church but it's loved.

I really like to see the murals on the side of buildings, I think that it gives the old buildings some class especially if the artist is really good. I have seen quite a few of these and there is a park where I go on my deliveries and they have little billboards where people can paint murals and you see different ones almost every week. I really like this one. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. JackJr.

Thank you for understanding and insightful comments. Really appreciated. I was amazed watching the artists doing this work. We got chatting and they told me they had commissions to do all the buildings in the square. So I have done more representativelyto make a set.

This is a wonderful painting. The mix of gray scale vs the color is perfect. It makes to really look at the painting. The cars, buildings, all drawing you into the graffiti. And the movement in the fishing boats almost makes you feel the sea in the harbor. Well done!

This is way cool! The billowing sails are done nicely. I like the retro feel and the autos are assembled - parked as if at the pier. Nice presentation. Nice brush strokes and overall good technique.

Thank you. However I didn't create the original. Graffiti artists did in fact fhe whole square and transformed the area I could not resist doing some plein air and finishing in my studio. An appreciated review. Your comments greatly appreciated.
