Wood ducks ar one of my favorite ducks,and definitely one I would love to be able to photograph. The colors are gorgeous and your focus is very sharp,nice reflection of the drake,and movement of the water results in additional,interesting reflections.A very colorful,eye pleasing image!

Wow this is an amazing find and then to capture it on film is spectacular.
Yes this gorgeous duck and he does appear to be fake or made of wood.
Absolutely gorgeous colors.
It almost appears as a fine painting.
Excellent reflection and the water makes a fabulous back ground.
Amazing detail and focus.
Beautifully accomplished.

Beautiful shot of this magnificent Wood Duck. The colors are nicely rendered and the rippling water add such a nice touch of movement and vibrance. We have these in East Tennessee. The forest service places nesting boxes near the lakes and ponds for these beautiful ducks. Nice work here Fred ~ Steve

The duck has beautiful contrast that blends well with the background colors of the water, but loses something because of the movement of it. I'm wondering if a different treatment wouldn't have worked better. I love the subject though.
