It seems our world is getting more volatile by the minute. I wonder why so many people feel that political opinion is a springboard for violence. A nice shot that shows the entire mess in great detail.

Very graphic photo of the damage caused. Have never understood this type of behavior - it rarely if ever accomplishes anything.
Now they might have to raise taxes even more to repair the damage.

Good journalistic shot showing the aftermath of the riots. What a shame. I just returned from your beautiful city on Wednesday. Saw many things even though it was wet and cold. I am fine with making a protest, but there is no excuse for this level of damage.

Fred,
A dreadful result in what should have been a peaceful protest taken over by the Hooligans every ready to go into action with or without reason. I pray not too many innocent people were injured. Interesting composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Yes, the French certainly know how to riot! I do not know if the fuel prices are very high there, but it's not cheap over here in England either! Your image is well composed, sharp with good exposure. Hope you were not caught up in any of it!

Somehow France appears to have no luck in electing their Presidents recently. Hollande was controversial. The present president took office amidst high hopes. But people have disillusioned by his unfulfilled promises. This generation is getting intolerant as can be seen from the mayhem they sem to have created. Same trend exists in other parts of the world too including my country. Thanks for the meaningful share!
