Lovely photo, a very mysterious black and white photo, the sun reflecting on the water, gives a good contrast, there's something really special about black and white photos.
Good work !!

thanks fotografa for the good comments, don,t then no why the four, giving under five does not bother me as much as others on here, but it does mean that you find something that needs improving in this, nothing comes up in your comments, can you explain

i love your photo, i don't like criticizing other people's work, the reason i gave you 4 stars is because i would've liked to see the sun as well, it would have been a 5+, but that's only my opinion.
    I'm sorry !!!

No problem, actually I did have part of the sun in this, but decided to crop it out as I wanted the focus more on the timber struts.at least you explained why, most people don,t and as I said don,t have a problem with a 4 just like to know the reaon why.
We all have different views on things, its how we learn

I have always loved when sunlight filters thru the clouds in rays like this. There's just something ethereal about it. It is a beautiful sight to behold. Love how you captured the sun's rays in this BW image.
The look is very soft and appealing against the dark shadows. Good Luck in the Contest! :o) Helvi

This is such a beautiful picture. The rays of light poking thru the clouds onto the glistening water. I love the shadows cast by the fencing. Good luck in your contest!

A very nice shot that looks great in this black and white presentation. The composition is excellent and the crepuscular rays in the clouds are fantastic. Best of luck in the contest.

I love the beams of light pointing down on this beach. I think Black and White was a good choice for this scene, it shows good tonal variations. This is well focused, the image is clear! Exposure/ lighting is well managed, I like this composition. Nice play on light and shadows. Well presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!
