I thought this was a painting it is so very well done with both clarity and blurring. I don't fully understand the technique but my daughter uses Photoshop and is always talking about layers. If it can help produce this portraiture of tulips it is an asset to art. I love the red hue that deviates ftom bright and vibrant to dull. The bunch is nicely arranged. The leaves a true tulip green and their points lead the eye to the bloom. A good composition. Good luck.

Your layering of the tulips worked well for this shot. I like how the tulips are faded and the texture of the background gives it a nice contrast. The treatments you used gives it a 3D look which is very appealing. The focus on the foreground tulips is good and lighting is just right.

This is pretty nice. I love the deep red colors of the tulips.

Wonderful initial impression: I love tulips and here you present five red ones, I like the way you selectively focused on the two , they are sharp and show good detail, exposure is well managed , the red tones show true, nice contrast with their supporting greenery. , well arranged and your post processing was effective to create such an artistic composition. When I did this contest,i was hoping that flower shots were keeped to a minimum,however this is a good photo and a good entry,think it lifts flowers to a new level,well taken photo this...Brian
