A very nice shot that shows this heron's fishing technique quite well. I like the detail in the bird and the inclusion of his reflection. Nicely composed with great colors.

May be he has seen one too many fish! SO his moth is watering or should I say getting bigger. Nice capture!The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Very nice shot of this gray heron ready to dive it's head in to get a fish, nice detsils and depth in the feathers, the bill has water dripping from it, plus a nice reflection,

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the Grey Heron standing in the shallows it's refection cler to see on the water along with the bushes & trees on the bank. Head tucked into it's shoulders eyes fixed under the water watching out for passing "Food" swimming below the surface with it's beak partially open ready to grab the fish or frog unwise enough to cross it's path! Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A bit moody blue colour pallet here but works quite well. I used my mobile at first to view this but went on to a larger screen and was happy about that as I could see more detail. I like the dark reflection and that the reflection area is larger than the live area. That it is lighter has enabled the composition to be taken out of a fairly dark composition and added more interest.
