I have taken a few shots of a red hibiscus,but they are not as good as this one,nice angel and with that plain background makes this one stand out,good luck with the contest..Brian

Fine floral features & soft velvety textures.
Duotone rendition masking backdrop colors to give focal attention on the reddish bloom...

What an outstanding image of this hibiscus bloom with excellent detail and dimension. It almost gives the feeling of a 3D image and has lovely texture and pose. The monochromatic background really makes the red color stand out.

Very nice image here Katya. The petals look like they are made of paper and have a unique look and feel. Great placement in the frame as the flower enters from the top left and flows diagonally toward the lower right. Wonderful image and entry for the contest.
