He's a beautiful buck with a perfect rack. It does look as though he is posing for you. Your close-up shows all his wonderful details. Background perfectly faded to keep attention on him. Lovely capture that is well focused with excellent lighting.

Lee Ann,
A beautiful picture of this majestic Stag looking into the distance ears pricked to catch every sound that may indicate danger. His perfect Anthers giving him status among the other Stags. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

So proud and majestic! He's gorgeous! I love his pose and his position in the frame as he turns his head to look to his side. Well photographed with good focus, the image is clear, exposure is well managed , colors and tones are natural. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

Hi LeeAnn!
He certainly is a handsome animal, isn't he?And your portrait photo capture of him looking at you from the woods is Great! : )
( It's been reported that a hunter over in northern Vermont managed to bag a rare all white Buck last week! )
Your picture of this fine specimen makes for a really 'Good Show',my friend!

Thanks so much for the great review,Sean! I did see where someone got a piebald buck in Sharon,VT; very interesting coloration on it,I would definitely have liked to have gotten photos of that one1 :) LeeAnn

It is amazing how tame they have become. They wander in herds through the subdivisions oblivious of both dogs and people. This is a fine shot. I like the woods in the background almost as much as the buck. Best of luck in the contest.
