This is beautiful and looks so peaceful! However I know looks are deceiving in the Everglades in Florida!
I know what lurks in that water!
This is a beautiful photo and well captured!

Looks like a gator waiting on the bank. Swimming not a good idea. Photo of the swamp show the natural habitat. Love the reflections in the water. The focus is good, good angle for the shot, and lighting is good.

Think I'll pass, really like the composition you have here, can see the reflections of the trees, and very good colors and details,
A pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

I do not think so. A nice capture of a southern swamp. Colors true, composed well and of course, the lurking predator. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, come on, SG - it's just a little lizard. He wouldn't hurt anyone. Beautiful photo of a nice area. Have not been there yet but am going in January and looking forward to it.

Are you sure there are no crocs in there ?:) Y
A lovely place indeed to take a swim. Nice shot! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Wherever there are cypress trees along the shore you should think twice about going into the water. An idyllic little spot that is nicely presented in this fine shot.

I have no problems with the cypress trees

Yes, looks like a grand spot for a quick dip! Your notes though, on your lovely shot, suggest that something dangerous lurks in those waters. Well taken!

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the Everglades the trees along the banks reflected on the mirror still dark water, then in the centre beside the bank I see an Alligator lying against it the sun shining on it's wet skin. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
