I'm glad I has a six for this. Very well done. The graduation of the sky, the clouds over the sun. The lines of the light waves to the detail of the people on the pier and the birds in the sky. There is a lot going on in this yet it is so simple and peaceful. Thank you for a lovely work of art.

Wish your contest.The Gorgeous mixed media shot and scene.The Great entry for the contest.The Red and another color sky and clouds are very nice and water reflection make a nice scene.Flying birds and silhouette details are very nice too.I like this nice scene.Focus color are excellent.Well Done.Thanks.

Hi Allan, this is a beautiful sunset capture on this Florida Beach, beautiful pink tones near horizon fading up to a lighter tone and then the deep blue tone at the top, I like this layered look! The water is reflecting the pink tones beautifully. Your horizon line is well placed , giving more space to the sky and good depth to this scene, the pier stands in silhouette on the left of frame, this adds another texture , the people on the pier to take in this beautiful evening bring life as well as giving scale to the size of the pier. This is of course, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural without over saturation,the sun itself is in a nice out of center position and captured at the perfect time. Well composed and presented! This was a pleasure to view! Best wishes to you in the contest!

Thanks Pat for the great review and in depth study of the image. You are very talented in that regard. Isn't this Florida shot a stark contrast to your mountains and scenery in Alaska. Florida is very flat, thank goodness for the Gulf and Atlantic coasts!!
