A pretty picture. You have captured the warmth it looks hot round those candles. Good focus and light use. Nice effect resulting from your topaz addition. The composition of the candle arrangement is also a good one

From the day I joined here 7 yrs ago I was always drawn to your work because of the way you use the light in your photos.
7 yrs and counting Cara you are still drawing me in and you have taught me much about light in Photography.
I love the low key ambiance the candle lights offer, your control of white balance on both flames and the look of the melted swirl of the candles.

A beautiful and peaceful scene. The candles do look best when they are melted down a bit like this (I think, anyway). The vignette you added here is very fitting and works well for this photo.
