Just a baby. The colors are perfect in the great green of the vegetation it is laying in.
The lighting is indicative of a bright sunny day but he is in the cool of the greenery.

Indeed, this is a cute baby. The little fawn seems looking around, probably for its mom. You have beautiful details captured. The big ears stand straight up and the nose is stuck out as if sniffing for mom's scent. The close up framing works well. The diagonal placement of the fawn in eye pleasing. I appreciate the natural colors.

The look back and the cuddle tuck is so cute. Very nice find and capture taken with nice focus and fine Exposure.
Great entry for this contest. I like the close showing nice details and sweet sad eyes.

A beautiful picture of this New born fawn curled up in among what we call Rosebay Willow Herb & I think you call Fireweed? Beautiful composition with the fawn turning it's head to get a better view of you. Taken with care & superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Thank you for the nice review;actually this little one is nestled in a bunch of goldenrod that will grow up to about 3 to 4 ft tall and blossom starting in August!

This little guys is so cute!! And the position of his head and face make it even more endearing (lol, pun not intended) This is really nicely exposed. I think you did a nice job handling the light and getting such rich natural color. Just too cute!
