Beautifully composed image of this single sunflower being outstanding in a field of it's peers! I like how you kept a good portion of that brilliant blue sky with the wispy cloud in your vertical format instead of cropping it out.Colors are perfect without being washed out..Excellent focus bringing out all the intricate detailing in the sunflower. I didn't get a chance to photograph the field this year. This is a wonderful entry for the contest,and I hope it does well for you!

Wow, the colors are so bright and vivid in this image. It is very eye catching. The details of the flower's center look good and the pattern that it makes along with the flowers in the background add character to the image.

I love the contrast between the bright yellow of the Sunflowers and the bright blue of the sky, Lori. I also like how you focused on just one beautiful Sunflower with the others fading away in the background. Excellent lighting and focus showing a beautifully crisp image. Very nice composition. The yellow of the sunflowers contrasts nicely with that blue sky. The composition is beautiful and I really like the clouds at the top. It is good to see a sunny summer scene in the middle of January.
