Nice, vibrant picture. It's amazing how red make cardinals are. Great shot. It is cropped well to show just the right amount of branch and snow around the cardinal.

In this photo the Red Cardinal is posing for you in such a lovely way, and is standing out from the background in an excellent way. I also like that we can see that it is snowing. A great entry for this contest.
Your photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is spot on. The colors are so crisp and clear.
The way you have cropped the photo works well, and the bird has got a very good placement off to the right. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest Willie.

Beautiful capture of the cardinal. Bird is well positioned within the shot. Greenery makes a nice contrast. The bird is well focused showing his beautiful vivid color. Lighting is excellent. Enjoyed viewing it as they are my favorite birds.
