This is a beauty jack! The colors are gorgeous and POP on this overcast day. Great POV and fine clarity from foreground to background.
I like the tree with collapsed branches off to the left.

Jack,
A beautiful picture of Cades Cove just before winter took it's icy grip on the scene. The mountains with their dusting of snow over their slopes & peaks make a beautiful background contrasting with the yellow of the sunlit field in the centre & the goldbrown of the stubble in the foreground with the felled tree it's felled branches propped against the stump during the eye onto the picture. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A beautiful picture of Cades Cove just before winter took it's icy grip on the scene. The mountains with their dusting of snow over their slopes & peaks make a beautiful background contrasting with the yellow of the sunlit field in the centre & the goldbrown of the stubble in the foreground with the felled tree it's felled branches propped against the stump during the eye onto the picture. Beautiful Photograph. I like the sense of moving from one season-fall to another-winter all in one image. Good color rendition. The long depth of field allows one to look beyond the mountains in front but also in the distant. Nice job.

A very nice looking scene. Your perspective is superb and the colors are fantastic. I like the cut down pine in the foreground and the way the colors seem to fall in layers.

I think the variety of colors in this landscape is lovely. Makes for a breathtaking view. The snow on the mountains has an attractive texture which is balanced nicely with the rich texture of the foreground grasses.

The colors in the foreground definitely showing the move to winter but have a very wonderful wheat color to them. The brilliant green and blues, purples give this a nice scene of the country here.
