Certainly is an early one! I have not seen any yet in our neck of the northwest. Your nice image benefits from having a good composition with fine exposure and sharpness. Nicely done!

Love the natural contrast of colors. Focus is excellent and reveals different stages of the opening petals. The quality of the photo in general is good, but personally I find a picture of A flower a bit boring, even if I understand your sentimental attachment to this first harbinger of Spring.

If posting a flower at a time, I could do it for over 5 years, but I think it would be a bore for most viewers.
