Lovely snow flocked divisions to your Flat Top Mountain. The shadowed terrain in the middle ground;and, also, the scrub trees and brush,in the foreground make for an excellent composition. The cobalt sky,and light shadows on the mountain range are, also, of interest.

Joanna Bachman

Very nice clear view of the snow covered mountain. I just see the houses tucked at the base. Lighting and focus is excellent. Enjoyed viewing it.

Such beautiful mountains. I love all of the snow. As always, your focus, framing, and lighting are all very good. It must be quite a view when you hike to the top of the mountain. Well done and thanks for sharing. :)

This is a very interesting mountain! The flat top looks pretty nifty and you captured the snow well. The sky color looks good too. The sunlight on the foreground landscape is also attractive.

You took an excellent photo. The snow covered mountain looks impressive beneath the pale blue sky. The photo has good depth. It is clear through. Especially the trees at the foreground show well defined detail.
The colors look refreshingly realistic.
I can see why this mountain is inviting for hikers. There must be a beautiful view from the top. A flat top on a mountain seems unusual. Do you know if this was an active volcano in the past or the unusual shape was created by an earthquake. The mountain seems barren, but maybe the snow covers plant foliage.

An unusual form for a mountain. Good observation. You have shot it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

This mountain reminds me of Massada, in the Yehuda desert in Israel, also there the top is flat and ruin from the 1ft century bc can be found there

good focus, light handling and composition

thanks for sharing

Another beautiful scene and a good job showing it. I still don't understand the reason for climbing mountains. I would understand if a bear was chasing you but just to say you did it would not be a good reason for me. I guess I am just chicken!

Pat,
A beautiful picture of Flat Top Mountain near your home bathed in afternoon sunlight adding a touch of gold to the snow clinging to it's slopes & flat topped peak beautifully framed above by the clear blue sky & below by the tree covered foot hills with scattered houses. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
