I love this! Your painting shows such a compassionate and kind hearted man (who I believe He was in every way) praying for an anonymous person in the crowd. Your use of softened colours emanates His character. I like the touch of purple and the blue of the person standing out. Excellent portrayal.

Hi Jesuel. Congratulations on your win! The textures and shadows here, particularly in the robe is really great. I love the soft sky as a background and the way the eye is immediately drawn to the face of Jesus. It's beautiful.

thank you so very very much lilibug I am going to do more lots of people want the girls and Christians want my bible stories I have so much to do I love doing the new testament I think that is the most important book ever written so often people forget or don't belive what he taught case in point I hear you shouldn't smoke cigaretts but here is the thing jesus said it is not what goes into your body but what comes out of your mouth that comes from the heart yes its bad for you however that's not what is important iv seen people who go to church regularly and pass judgement on people because they have tattoos or long hair or earings that's why I don't go to church I worship him in private I have had great evils perpertrated against me by a religious collage they stole my work asked before they did it if I wanted girls or money I told them no I was with my girlfriend I don't cheat money I worked for a living didn't need it and when they couldn't buy me they crucified me so to say the least left me dissillusiond to say the least you cant even trust the church once again thank you

Hi Jesuel... I know what it is like to have that kind of thing happen...we were part of a church for 27 years and ended up leaving after finding out the pastor was involved in wife swapping, taking money that wasn't theirs to take from the church as well as a whole bunch of other things=( The church we went to prior to that the pastor was arrested and convicted of sodomy with a church members young son...It is a sad sick world we live in these days! I am currently going to a new church but put my trust in the Lord and not a pastor...they are just a human being after all! Best of luck to you my friend! You have awesome talent! I am sure the Lord knows and appreciates your work=) Lori

This is so beautifully done. I like how the light the sky is in the background as if representing God's light shining down on them while Jesus prays. The message couldn't be any more perfect and so beautifully detailed. Well done and thanks for sharing this with us. :)

Very nicely done! I like how you captured the expression on Jesus's face as He is praying. It captures the true character of who he really is. Thanks for sharing.

A gorgeous and powerful Pastel of Jesus. Your play with light and shadows brings this piece to life. Good differentiation and contrast in your art. Beautiful is your blending and shading with your pastels. The expression and emotion on the face on Jesus is beautifully created. Also so beautiful are your textures. Good body proportions and facial proportions. Gorgeous color palette. A creative and talented art work. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

this is a lovely pastel, to get the human face so clearly with patels is highly skilled. I see your face as Jesus's. People portrayal is totally your fortei much as mine is story telling. Humanity has pictured the story of Jesus for a couple of thousands of years. I go to a Cathedral art group and each month we are given a reading and have to picture it.

This is very nice Jesuel! I like how you created the realistic texture of the clouds as well as your usual good work with the fabrics. The light is applied well and worked expertly in the skins tones.
