Nice shot! I like the colors shown. We have a plant that has the same type flowers. It is the wild flox. There is another plant like this growing around the waters edge. I know they are not the same just similar.

Thank you so very much Willie, I think this is also growing in England but called something else too.

a like this image of the fireweed, you have captured the delicate petals really well, the colour is so pretty and stands out beautifully against the muted background, I like the off centre position in the frame.
lovely image.

Pat love the color of this plant. I like its positioning in the image. The dark background shows off the blooms. Maybe it's my eyesight, but it seem that the stems are tack sharp and the blossoms are a bit soft. Maybe that is the "feel" you were looking for. Well done.

A very nice shot. The composition is superb and the flower is shown in exquisite detail. I might try a slightly warmer color palette though.

Great notes . Does it make a sweet jelly or honey. Or does it have a distinct flower flavor. This is a beautiful color and I can just imagine a field covered in hot pink bloom. Do the deer and moose eat it as well? You have cropped this one very nicely with excellent lighting and terrific focus. So pretty.

Beautiful and vibrant color of this Fireweed. I like how the stems below also reflect the same colors as the flower petals. Nice darker green background to enhance the Pink coloring.
