Very interesting. There are several textures here that makes this very interesting. I'm glad you told us about the other two statues. They really look like people. When I traveled to South Dakota I saw many wind machines like this. There were rows and rows of them on flat ground. In Kentucky we don't have much flat ground. I might have liked this to have a heavier sepia color for the contest. Your horizon line is straight. Good job.

Great capture. The angle of the shot of the beach, people, and windmills is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

What a fantastic entry for this contest! The sepia makes this photo magnificent! I would have never known it was only one person unless you said it! Great job and the best of luck in the contest!

This is a very interesting photo. I always like the power turbines in a photo but to see this in a setting as a piece of artwork in very nice. Love the B&W.

I like the monochromatic color tones in this image and how the water has a silvery effect. The history of those statues is interesting and from what I understand this is their third and now permanent location. I like that you have a real human in the scene too!

Wow what a great find! I had no idea the other two weren't real people until I saw it in your description. The coloring and the size of the people compared to the structures in the background set a mood and tell a story. Great job!

This is leading more to b/w as opposed to sepia, but that aside I like the connection between those figures against the pylons, have seen pictures of these figures, quite unique in there concept.
I wonder though if you live near these figures to go back and get much closer to them, this would make the contrast between the figures and pylons so much more graffic...Brian

A very interesting picture of Crosby beach wth the two Anthony Gormly Figures & a man walking towards them on the rippled wet sand that the light is dancing off, in the distance the Wind Farm out in the sea hopefully turning to create power. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I would have thought there were three people in this image had I not read your notes! This is a good entry for the contest, I like the wind generators against the sky,the beach with the wet sand that is reflecting the light from the sky, the figure on the right bringing life to this scene. This is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the sepia shows good tonal variations. Well composed and presented!best wishes to you in the contest!
