You are very accomplished in using digital painting.Don't know the photo, but one feels that there is a real person behind this portrait. My only negative comment is the wrinkles in her neck seem odd for someone so young. Excellent job.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. The girl in the painting is a friend how she looked 10 years ago. I think the white blouse is a school uniform. :o)

Lovely work here, portraits ain't easy and you done well. Nice use of suttle and soft tones. Colours chosen work well and a nice background without being too distracting, well done

How nice that you could do this for your friend, and I am sure she really like the result. It is a lovely portrait, and I like so much the textures and colors of the background.
You have also brought out the fine textures of the hair and the light in the eyes. Your brush work is always very good, and you know how to use high lights correct as well.
The format and framing is perfect and the girl is well placed on the canvas. A truly lovely and well done digital portrait Cleo.

You are really talented Cleo! Your portraits of animals are always so realistic and now I can see that goes for your portraits of people too. This looks as realistic as a photograph. The work you did on her eyes brings life to her face and I think you did a great job on her teeth, which I think is a difficult thing to get right.
