Lovely tones and contrast in this work. I like the angle and lighting is spot on. Lovely softness overall, well done and thank you for sharing on fan art review.

I think this is awesome! Your exposure is perfect and you did a great job with the sharpness. I like that the richly saturated colors of the rocks are not overdone and have more of a natural appearance. The ice stands out well and is a great frame! Really nice find that makes a unique image.

An interesting phenomenon that makes for a fine shot. The exposure for the ice is very good and the stones are shown in beautiful detail. Best of luck in the contest.

Thanks so very much for the review and your well wishes. It is definitely strange to see the water flowing quite well in one section, then disappear for several feet before it resurfaces and starts flowing again!

makes me feel cold just looking at it...lol..the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this frigid rocky scene is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

This is indeed an unusual framing. Mother nature once again did artistic work and you captured it perfectly. You enhanced the photo carefully. The details of shape and textures of stones and ice are impressive, The composition is balanced and framed well.
I am not sure if you posted this photo into the right category because you wrote in your comments that you sharpened the photo, but sharpening is a minor enhancement. If you did not changed anything else it needs to be posted as mixed media minor. Do you not know how to change the category?

Thanks so much for your review;thank you for pointing out my mistake in posting,I did actually end up adjusting the color a bit,so I changed the it from some to minor.I?m so used to posting my skull shots that I edit quite a bit that I didn?t really think about it with this photo-lol!

This is so well seen, and such a creative entry for this contest. If you live in a country with ice and snow this is probably something you see very often, but without really seeing it, or even thinking of taking a photography. I especially like the fine textures you have captures in the stones.

Your photo is also very sharp showing really clear and well defined details in all the stones, and the exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is very good and these rocks are perfectly framed by the ice. This is indeed a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a very unique image and it's so interesting the way you have used the ice as framing for your subject. The stones are in the warm earthy colors and show good detail , this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones appear natural. Well presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!
