A beautiful profile of this majestic bird.The grey/blue background works well in showing him at his best. Focus and clarity are great, showing the detail in his feathers and that eye!

This is a classic portrait of the bald eagle. This is so perfect, looks like it was taken in the studio and the eagle was posing. Light and shadows are excellent. The composition is perfect! The details and clarity are remarkable! I can see why this post is already All time best! Bravo, bravisimo Pat!!!

This is a classic portrait of the bald eagle. This is so perfect, looks like it was taken in the studio and the eagle was posing. Light and shadows are excellent. The composition is perfect! Excellent capture - this face is spot on in sharpness it seems we can even touch him and feel his feathers
Super frame choice , your close up is well framed , has perfect contrast and lighting, the grey uniform sky lets this eagle stand beautifully out -
A clam and well presented picture. I specially like the angle and the side position of the eagle so his profile stand out perfectly

Wonderful detail and color to this image The catch light accentuates the eye of the bird.Good placement in the frame. I wonder Pat, if you considered a closer crop to draw more attention to the eagles eye? Well done.

Not sure if it's the close up, but the size looks like a female which is larger than the males.
Very fine portrait of this majestic bird Pat.

Now that's showing power. This Balk Eagle is telling everyone that he is in charge. Nice use of thirds in the eyes. The photo is also clear and sharp, which makes the feathers stand out.
