Pat,
A very beautiful golden sunset in Earthquake Park with the sun sitting on the horizon, colouring the sky above the horizon & the clouds floating overhead. A golden sunbeam crossing over the lnlet while the colours in the sky are reflected on the water's of the lnlet & the snow in the foreground. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Wonderful capture. I particularly like the fact that the sun is not overpowering and the sky colors are not bleached out. Good use of the rule of thirds. Well done.

The warm hues are gorgeous and the reflection of the sun is so cool. Even the snow looks warm from the sun's glow. Terrific panoramic view showing us land and water. I like the sun bouncing off the water.
The tree and shrub silhouettes add character to the photo. Well cropped and very well framed. So pretty. I love Alaska!!!!!

The photo is of course also very sharp with such clear and well defined details, and the exposure is perfect.
The slight crop has worked well and with the trees off to the left, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
