The skyline is amazing. It is surprising to see high-rise buildings so far north. It is even more surprising how those sky scrapers are dwarfed by the snow covered mighty mountains behind them. You captured a very interesting landscape. The icy shore in the foreground and its curve are a beautiful addition which lead the eyes to the cityscape. The colors look natural. You might consider to crop above. The clouds there a tad distracting from the scenery beneath.

Much nicer photo of Anchorage than on the Wikipedia page! I love how you have angled the picture to include the curve of the waterline leading the eye to the town and mountains beyond!
Another very nice photo ,Pat!

This photograph is beautiful. I like the use of the curve line which takes the viewer's eye from the foreground and into the distance of the frame. Excellent DOF field and good composition.

A beautifully captured scene! It is so classical in its concept and execution and in its atmosphere; beautiful, moody and it feels almost otherworldly. Thanks for sharing!

Initial impact - Very good
Creativity of presentation - I like the positioning of the water city and mountains.
Color Harmony - The colors are really good. They are reminiscent of pastels.
Center of Interest The leading line from the water line take you to the city and then the city to the mountains.
Technical Excellence
Technique - It may just me or the curve of the water, but it looks like the horizon is tilted from right to left.
Story Telling Ability_ The photo doesn't tell much of a story, other then it is set in a magnificent part of Alaska.
Lighting _ Using the sunlight during the "Golden Hour" really gives the city a beautiful golden tone, and depth to the mountains. Well done.

I love the delicate colours in this beautiful scene just before sunset, Pat, with the fading sun casting a pink glow on the mountains and reflecting in the water. I like the angle you used for this. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Lovely composition. Suzanne
