You probably don't believe it, but I actually have a photo looking very much like this. It's because I have them in my garden, and you have pictured them almost as good I did. LOL I am just joking Willie, because what I like the best is the fine textures you have brought out in the textures of the petals. The nicely softened background, makes the flowers stand out in an excellent way.
Your focus was spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details both in the petals and the cone of the flowers, and the exposure is just perfect.
The way you have cropped the photo works well and the two flowers in sharp focus have got a fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This is a lovely image. I think these flowers are interesting to view. I like how the one on the right isn't a full cone yet. It is nice to see that stage of growth. Your exposure and dof are very nice.

Beautiful coneflowers! I like the vibrant pink petals and the deep orange cone center, this is very well photographed with spot on focus on the two blooms on left and in center. The two coneflowers are clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural, I see good detail in the petals and in the cone center, this is well composed , the flower on right allows a good sense of this location.
