WOW! You have super fine details in this image. You can see the finest detail in the feathers. Love the pose you got of the Titmouse with a seed in his mouth, not to mention the twinkle in the eye. Clarity and lighting have made this a really super shot! Good Luck in the Contest! :o) Helvi

A brilliant profile portrait of the Tufted Titmouse with a whole Sunflower seed held in it's beak with your reflection seen withing it's eye. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus so we can see in detail the filament that make up it's feathers.

I know full well if I had a DSLR Camera & interchangable lens & I had with my SLR & 3 Lens I could get better pictures than are possible with my present compact camera who's advantage is that it's always on my belt when I see something I want to photograpg. Unlike my SLR that sat in it's case except on prearranged occasions such as a Photo shoot.

LOL Honestly, this is indeed a 6 stars shot, which I of course don't have right now, and I just love the close and personal approach. The plain green background makes the bird stand out in an excellent way. That a bird is also holding sunflower seed in its beak adds a lot of interest.
The focus is just pin sharp with really clear details, and it is almost possible to count the feathers. Because of a perfect exposure you have also captured so well the high light in the bird's eye.
The tight cropping works so well and the bird has got such a fine placement off to the right. This is a really lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
