Very nice shot with interest and details. Good Dof so that it stands out in the shot against a workable background. Great detail in the bird - feathers, eyes, colors. Nice action shot freezing the details. For me the shot is a bit too centered, but there isn't a lot you can do about that in a shot like this. Well done, thank you for sharing.

These birds are so beautiful. I envied you to have time with the great bird, Love this capture as it shows all the feathers and the bone structure of him. They do have patience to be able to hunt like they do.

a wonderful image of the great blue heron as its waits for a fish, they are very patient !. nice Deep saturated natural colour, pin sharp focus and clarity, the light on the bird is wonderful
well placed in the frame for maximum impact. a very well taken photograph taken with great camera skills.

Stunning composition with this Great Blue Heron(one of my favorites)with his upraised, fanned out feathers offered to the air to dry him off.The curves of his legs,also,give good contrast to the curves of his wings.The dark background shows him off,beautifully.
