This pretty girl certainly is colorful! I like how the light colored background helps to emphasize her color. The details are nicely sharp even down to her sharp little claws.

Hi LeeAnn!
She certainly does have a lot more Red coloration in her feathers than female Northern Cardinals usually do,my friend!
( I wonder what's up with that? )
Your interesting,well-photographed picture of her looks Great though! : )

A beautiful picture of this Cardinal helping itself to the sunflower seeds you have scattered on your window sill. I wonder is she one of the Cardinal females that I read about on the National Geographic..It said there are some Female Cardinas that are 50%female & 50% male usually they are sterile but some are able to lay fertile eggs. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A very nice looking lady and a well composed shot. The detail in her plumage is excellent and there is a fine catchlight on her eye. Good snowy background and beautiful colors.

I think this is little lady is beautiful, and you have pictured her so well. With the pale sky as a background the bird is standing out in an excellent way, and I like so much the crisp and clear colors.

The photo is really sharp with clear and well defined details, and the exposure is spot on.

The cropping has worked well and the bird has got a very good placement within the frame. This is a truly lovely and well taken bird portrait, and with an excellent DOF.

Going off your title you seem to be suggesting that she is a lady of the night? Your fine full and central composition offers us a good look at your visitor. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

HAHA didn?t think of that! I was trying to draw attention to the fact that this one has so much more red coloration than the other female cardinals that we have been seeing. Many thanks for your review!
