Once again, it's nice to learn about animals through artwork. The multiple layers of shades appear to the viewer as authentic fur. The face, leg, and tail structure are all slightly unusual which shows the viewer that you paid attention to the animal's real characteristic quirks. The branch even has detailed shading. Nice job :)

What an admirable rendition of this endangered animal. I can see why the Spanish would call it "Old Man's Head." The fur is well executed as is the branch upon which it rests. Had I not read your artist notes I would have pegged this as an original oil and not a digital art piece. Well done!

I had never heard of this beautiful animal before. An excellent image that shows why he is called an "old man's head". Very nice composition and excellent colors.

This is a completely unknown animal to me, but I don't doubt for a second that is exactly how it looks like. Because I know your very good attention to even the smallest details, which is also true for this painting. I like very much the neutral background, because this makes the animal stand out in an excellent way.
Your brush work is excellent as always, and you have also used high lights very well.
The format and framing is perfect, and the animal is well placed on the canvas. I especially like that the whole tail is included. Indeed a lovely and well done digital painting Cleo.

Very cool image here. I enjoyed reading a little bit about the Tayra. I am not very familiar with this animal so it was an interesting read for me. You did a wonderful job with this.

A beautiful digital painting of the Tayra. Your light and shadows brings this creature to life. Nice use of palette knife and brushes of different sizes creating the wonderful facial features and soft looking textures to create the fur. Your light background but textures compliments your work beautifully. A creative and talented art work. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful digital painting, Cleo, showing this lovely Tayra climbing along the branch. I don't know these animals so it was interesting to read your notes. I like the pose you decided on and your choice of colours. He looks as if he's climbing high up in the clouds. Lovely composition. Suzanne
