Nice shot of this coastal scene. The boat being the main point of interest brings in the rest of the scene. I like the choice to use black and white as it makes it a little more dramatic. I think this scene is all man made so I am not sure if this was a good choice for this contest, however I don't know what the judges have in mind. Good luck!

Nice entry for this contest, I like your angle of shot with this view of the boat, the pier on the right, this is well focused, the image is sharp and clear, exposure is well managed, nice Black and White rendering , good tonal variations. This shows the contrast between natural and man made. Well composed and presented!
