This little guy looks exactly like our little chickadees! Must be the same bird. I like this view and how it shows all his features. I also like the idea of a suet and seed filled coconut!

Grace,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Coal Tit, which does look like your Chickadee but the Latin Names are different .The Coal Tit is :- Periparus ater Hibernicus or in Irish Meantan dubh
The Chickadee is :- Poecile atricapillus

Beautiful capture of this bird. The detail on the bird is tack sharp. You caught the catch light in its eyes. If the depth of field were a bit shallower, the limbs of the tree in the background would have been blurred more , and that would really make the bird "pop". If you consider cropping the bottom to slightly below the bird's foot and from the left to about the middle of the suet, I think you will see that that will improve the image. Just a thought. In any case, well done.

Lovely capture, Susan, showing this pretty little Coal Tit perched on the seed-filled coconut shell hanging in the Fuchsia bush. I like all the patterns shown in the twigs of the bush. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Suzanne,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this cheeky little Coal Tit. There were three of them trying to feed on this feeder at the same time.

Oh just the cutest little bird! This Tit has such lovely colourings as shown by the glowing light. Well done for a very well executed capture with it being still enough for you to photograph. Great focus and clarity and a pleasure to view.

Wonderful image of this chipper little bird,it looks so very much like my black capped chickadees, they too are rarely still, making it difficult to get a decent photo of them.your image is very enjoyable and well focused and is very well framed!

A nicely composed shot with nice detail in the bird and fine colors. I don't so much mind the coconut shell feeder as I do that pair of strings.

A very cooperative bird sitting still long enough for you to picture it so well. It is so cute the way it is hanging on to the filled coconut, and I think the light is falling on it in such a lovely way. It is also standing out really well against the nicely softened background.
The photo is very sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the little bird, and the exposure is spot on.
The photo is so nicely cropped and the bird has got a good placement off to the right. This is indeed a lovely and well taken photo Susan, and with an excellent DOF.
