This is an intriguing camera-catch. The bird seems to examine the food before having a bite.
The colors look throughout natural. The photo is well focused and lighted. I like the defined detail of feathers and the light catch in the eye. The bird is nicely placed into the frame. The photo is balanced.

A very fine, beautiful and dramatic nature shot presented here! Your full and off-centre composition offers us a great look at this feeding time scene. Love the detail in the bird and the coconut. Exposure and sharpness are spot on. Great photo, well doneĀ±

The coal tit looks a lot like the chickadee, such a pretty little bird, I like that it allowed this moment for you to capture, I really like it's pose on the coconut shell feeder,this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. I see nice detail in feathers, face and beak and good eye contact! Well composed and presented!

Pat,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this little Coal Tit.
They do look almost identical to a Chickadee...
But the Latin names differ.
The Coal Tit is :- Periparis ater hibernicus (an Irish subspecies)
And the Blackcap Chickadee :- Poecile atricapillus.

it looks very tasty, at least for the birds; a good close up of this coal tit asking himself whether he will eat ll this food or leaving some for his friends;

lovely work susan. another classic avian portrait. the bird is very natural in his surround. is lovely natural colour and great position. he looks very small and delicate but these types of birds are surely tough and this one has a determined look.
