This is soooo cute. This little bird does look like she is admiring herself in the water with one foot in and one foot out it looks like she is testing the water to see if she can take a bath or not! And you took this threw the door!? Great work and eye!!!

I've never seen this lovely bird before but it's a great capture - you managed to take it without scaring her away and yet compose it well and gt it sharp and focused on her. You must have your camera ready at all times!

I always have my camera ready in a pouch on my belt it's a Compact camera.

She is a pretty bird! I would admire my reflection too if I were her :) I like the pose and the way her head is angled to show off the rose colored feathers. I think the reflections in the water look nice too.
