Yes, it's monochromatic!

Another cute capture with plumage fluffed up to make him warm a bit...

Good blurry backdrop rendition to make him stand out prominently from the subdued earth tones.

Nice perspective & narrow DOF.

Thanks for sharing...

Another beautiful shot of a bird in winter! Impressive selective colouring! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

The bird looks all alone here not sure how to feel but i love how you captured the moment with such clarity and looks like the little bit of snow falling. Thanks for sharing your talent again

Wow this is a great shot of this sparrow. I really like the way the background makes the bird stand out as well. Though I must admit, I am not much of a photographer but this photo makes me want to start painting birds! Nice job!

You are really good at the bird photos. The blurred background shows off the bird to perfection. I like the way his feathers are puffed up to keep him warmer in the snowy weather. I also like the way you captured the snow flying in the air.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Outstanding sharp focus,
sa-wa-eeeeet monochromatic DOF, great eye clarity, fine feather details including that black smudge on their chest that gives them their identity from other sparrows, and Superb white balance control.
Your best posed shot to date of this sweet bird.
Fine work behind your lens Greenie.
Bravo :)

A beautiful capture of the Tree Sparrow. Since the eye is so sharp....just draws us right into your photography. Very well photographed against the stark winter day. Beautiful capture with good light handling, sharp focus revealing excellent details and clarity on the feathers. Your colors so beautiful and contrast nicely with your beautiful diffused background. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing. Love this!

This chubby little guy seems content sitting there. Maybe letting his dinner settle before he attempts take off. Your focus is really nice, showing a very real life, in my face presence of this pretty little bird. Thanks for sharing.

Quaint picture of this tiny little sparrow perched against the cold winter snow! Well placed in the frame and crisp against the faded background. I absolutely love this little guy! Great job and best of luck!
