From what I have heard about this rioting it is based on the notion of income inequality. I don't understand how this destruction would deal with the issues. A very nice shot.

another good journalistic shot of the paris riot. yes as you state it is always the innocent that get caught up in the chaos and some end up, paying with their lives. thanks for shedding some light on this shocking story/

The boards in the ground floor windows,and,the debris strewn on the ground tell the story of the "yellow vests" uprising.I have my"French connection"(friends,here) that describe the tumult in Paris;and,too,elsewhere,in France.Your photograph tells the story in one picture.
Cordially,
Joanna Bachman

What a tragic image. I don't understand why people can get so angry that they are so careless about other people's lives and safety. At least the families were saved by the firefighters. The image shows that quite a bit of damage was done.

Once again excellent reporting for your photo. Good color and composition. Just a thought, have you tried a more intimate photo of the scene, such as a closer look at the charred building or maybe a closer look at the debris on the sidewalk against the building. It's an "intimate landscape"

    many thanks again;
    I think it was important to see not only the building with the biurn;ed facade but also the débris,

    Yes, I agree. But still try for some close shots.

Again a record of what is happening, well displayed. One would like to believe this is not all of the protesters but rather a small part of what is going on. They don't seem to understand what can happen and who they may be hurting or killing.
