Thank you both. The original photograph was indeed beautiful. Your digital work is also beautiful. I like the brush strokes they give a sense of movement in the feathers and the flakes. Nice form to the bird. I like the treatment of the branches as well. Beautiful work.

Beautiful digital art creations Diane! I like how the Cardinal is perched on the tree branch puffing it's feathers to with standing the cold snowy day. It is visually very strong. This is an image where you can feel the cold as well as see it, so it is emotionally strong. Good brush strokes and blending and shading of colors. Beautiful work creating the falling snow. A creative and talented art work. I love that you lighten the eye. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing. Love this!

Beautiful digital art creations Diane! I like how the Cardinal is perched on the tree branch puffing it's feathers to with standing the cold snowy day. It is visually very strong. This is an image where you can feel the cold as well as see it, so it is emotionally strong. Good brush strokes and blending and shading of colors. Beautiful work creating the falling snow. I can't thank you enough Mike. since you saw the original photo and still said such fantastic things about this painting, I don't feel as if I messed up LOL. I haven't painted in so long, this just all seemed off to me so thank you deeply and the six is an added bonus. thank you again

A beautiful image that is shown in superb colors. I like the composition and think the rendering of the snow is exceptional. The detail in the plumage is very nice and cardinal is beautiful.
