What a charming painting. I like the background and your snowflakes. The bird is executed very nicely with a lot of detail of the feathers. What I would like to see is a one-hair brush to do a catch light in his eye. It would make it more distinct from the dark feathers around it.

Thank you for a kind review. Believe it or not, that is what I did in the eye. The photograph showed his eye extremely dark where you could barely see it, so I added at least a slight highlight but didn't want to get too far off from the photo. Thank you again for such a fantastic review, and advice. It is deeply appreciated.
